Simply marrying couples

A registry wedding is a very simple ceremony that binds you and your partner together in marriage or civil union.

The Department Internal Affairs (DIA) has appointed a small number of celebrants in your local area to deliver registry weddings. Find your closest celebrant when you apply for your licence, and pay them the $90 fee. You choose a location (a beach, a park, cafe or restaurant, or your own home), and I’ll come to deliver the short ceremony. You’ll need two witnesses, although you may have up to 10 people altogether (including you and your partner). We’ll follow the script from the DIA, and you repeat the vows that are supplied. You may exchange rings and say something special to your partner at this time.

If this kind of ceremony doesn’t sound like you, check out my tiny weddings page.

Together, we’ll create a lifetime of memories.

Professionalism Guaranteed

As a registered independent celebrant, you can be assured of a professional service. Appointed by the Department of Internal Affairs, I hold a Certificate in Celebrant Studies from the Celebrant School, and I’m a validated member of Celebrants Aotearoa of New Zealand.

A great marriage is not about the perfect couple coming together. It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.
